Texture ceiling
Before starting, we cover and protect all the floors and forniture with plastic. We spray water to the surface of the ceiling so that popcorn could be removed more easily. Then, we proceed removing it with spatula by hand.
You can choose between orange peel and knockdown texture for your walls and ceiling.
Knockdown texture is one of the most popular textures and we apply it with a spray rig. This texture is a perfect way to hide imperfections on walls and ceilings. Also, is it incredibly affordable and costs a lot less. We recommend that kind of texture for your garage instead of smooth flat finish.
Orange peel: We recommend that texture for your walls. This texture looks like the skin of an orange. Orange peel drywall texture became popular in residential construction in the southwestern United States in the 1980s.

Ceiling Painting
Apply painter´s tape aroung the edges, then we proceed to paint with roll, using a low nap roller for smooth ceilings, we moist the roller with a wet towel to help the paint load, to get into corners, use a pole-mounted brush extender. Roll slowly so the paint won´t spatter. Once we finished a couple of sections go back and lightly go over the paint with and unloaded roll to smooth it out.

SKIM COATING
This is a process where a thin coat of joint compound is applied over wall and ceiling surfaces. Skim coating is a texturing technique used to make a wall smooth. This gives your wall a nice new smooth finish. That allows us to have even walls and ceilings and makes paint more manageable and look very nice.
Skim coating can be applied on cracks, holes, peeling, damaged areas after wallpaper removal, water-damaged drywall, etc.
